The pieces of the clutch. Each piece is shown here as it faces out from the engine.
  The flywheel.
A piece of 2 in aluminum angle used to sprag the flywheel for removal of the flywheel bolts. The same piece is used when removing the alternator rotor (You need to have the flywheel in place for this).

The engine with the flywheel removed.
The alternator before removal. Note the wiring.
The diode board. Note the wiring.
The alternator with the wires disconnected.
The alternator brushes have been pulled back and the springs used to hold them in place. To do this, use a small screwdriver to pull back the spring then very carefully pull the brush out by its connecting wire. Then let the spring back against the side of the brush to hold it in place.
After the alternator stator has been removed showing the rotor.
